Welcome to Fibreandstitch. By exploring our website and placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please take a moment to read them carefully to understand how we work and what you can expect when shopping with us.
1. Our Creations
Fibreandstitch is a UK-based designer/maker specialising in handcrafted goods designed with care and attention to detail. Each item is made individually, so slight variations in colour, texture, pattern, or finish are part of its unique character. These subtle differences are a hallmark of genuine handmade work and should be celebrated as part of the charm of your piece.
2. Product Details
We take great care in presenting our items accurately through descriptions and photography. However, handmade products are inherently unique, and your item may differ slightly from the images on our website. Lighting, screen resolution, and device settings may also affect the way colours and textures appear. We encourage customers to embrace these nuances as part of the story of each handmade creation.
3. Pricing
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are reviewed regularly to reflect material and production costs. While we may update prices from time to time, any changes will not affect confirmed orders. Your confirmed purchase is always honoured at the price you paid.
4. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase your selected item(s). All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, such as errors in pricing, stock unavailability, or issues with payment. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and refund any payment already made.
5. Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with secure payments through Stripe and PayPal. All transactions are processed using industry-standard encryption by trusted third-party providers. Fibreandstitch does not store card details, ensuring that your payment information remains completely secure. Payment will be taken at the time of purchase, and your order will only be confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
6. Delivery
We provide estimated delivery times for guidance; however, these are not guaranteed. While most orders arrive promptly, there may be occasional delays due to factors beyond our control, such as courier issues or extreme weather. If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will assist in tracking your parcel and resolving any issues.
7. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Law)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving your items, unless the items are bespoke or personalised (see below). To exercise this right, please notify us in writing within the 30-day period. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned items have been received and inspected.
8. Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
Custom, personalised, and made-to-order items are crafted specifically for you and are therefore exempt from the 14-day cancellation period, except in cases where they are faulty or not as described. This includes items with personalised text, colours, or design modifications. Please ensure all details are correct when placing your order, as changes may not be possible once production has begun. Each bespoke piece is carefully made to your specifications and may take additional time to produce.
9. Faulty or Damaged Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us promptly with details and photographs where possible. We will work with you to offer a repair, replacement, or refund, ensuring the issue is resolved quickly and professionally.
