Sue Bleiweiss - Publisher
Mostly a
self-taught fiber artist, I enjoy the process of experimenting with
different techniques to discover what works. This time spent
experimenting has caused my work to evolve and change over the years and
so have my interests in different elements of the textile arts.
Working with silk fusion has given me an endless source of enjoyment and
I’m continually fascinated by how versatile a medium it is. One of
my current passions is the exploration of working in 3D using layered
fabric and fiber surfaces and the combination of paper and fabric to
create my own journals and sketchbooks.
Being able to
share what I’ve learned through the exploration and experimentation of
my work in fiber artistry by teaching is a great source of delight to me.
I love to see how my students interpret their own visions using the
techniques that I have shared with them.

Stegmiller - Assistant Publisher
My passion for creating was instilled in me from a very early age. Mostly
self taught, my creative journey has seen me explore a wide variety of
mediums but my primary focus now is working with fabric
and fiber. I have recently started incorporating paper and other non-traditional elements into my pieces and have found that working in this style definitely appeals to me. I enjoy the additional
factor of uniqueness and
originality that mixed-media art offers.

Carol
McFee - Staff Artist
For
many years I expressed my love of fabrics through garment making.
Then in the ‘90’s I discovered textile art and for the next ten
years took part in various textile related courses at the local college.
In 2001 I was invited to accept a work placement with GCSE Textile
students to assist with their studies. My main interest is in creating texture, using fabric,
paper and paint. I love to explore new techniques to create interesting
surfaces ready for stitch. I have had the privilege of exhibiting my work
at the House of Commons in London.
Carol
McFee is a Textile Artist living in North Wales, UK.
